We saw the worst of this with the police state in St. Paul for the Republican National Convention (shamefully undercovered by the corporate media). Here, a reporter was assaulted as a Palin rally. No wonder Palin's staff keeps her away from news reports so she won't get "depressed."

Jon Stewart did a segment on Palin a few days ago. The only time she is seen by reporters is when she hurrying to or from something. She never has time to speak to them. She just smiles and winks and keeps walking.
I've tried to make myself believe other explanations, but the only one that makes sense to me is that they're keeping her isolated from the press. I can't make that spin in any positve way for them.
